Justin Scott, better known as Big K.R.I.T. king of southern rap. has done it yet again on a mixtape that exudes his own greatness.   His contribution to hip hop is exactly what the music industry needs in order for the substance of the genre to be revived and with such an impeccable delivery, his reign as king will only continue to grow.

What I always love about his music is the chill vibe, yet still something I can press play and rock out to.  I admire his ability to create versatility without deviating from his own staple sound.  Often times rappers will try to expand themselves by stepping into new genres and it doesn't always work, but he manages to do that while remaining true to hip hop itself.  Just like every other mixtape, this has been in constant rotation and I'm looking forward to some of these summer shows Big K.R.I.T. is featured in.

Motivation and southern culture meets heavy bass in a lyrical format that is remarkable.  My favorite tracks on this LP are  Multi to The SunREM, Serve This Royalty, and, Good 2getha (ft. Ashton Jones).  These songs really tie together the overall concept of the compilation and definitely the songs I'll probably know all the lyrics to soon, just in time for summer.
