The Sky Box Suite VIP Pass | Where the Dream Begins Again

From participation jr. varsity basketball to competitive swimming to Sundays spent watching football with my dad/brothers/uncles/friends, sports have always been a pretty huge deal in my world. Sports taught me valuable lessons that are applicable to so many different areas of life and helped to mold my perspective on success and achievement...and the dedication it requires to get there.

Just like sports, music has always been a pretty huge part of my life and one of those subjects I can talk/write about endlessly and never get tired of it. I listen to a wide range of artist and genres-everything from jazz to hip-hop to pop to dub-step.

For years, I've had this idea to re-launch my sports blog, but I was hesitant for a few limiting reasons; afraid that I wouldn't be good enough, or well-versed enough to deliver sports news flawlessly and consistently, or wasn't educated enough to be a legit journalist, and the list goes on. For so long, it felt impossible, therefore it was.

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact; it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration; it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.
-Muhammad Ali (Rest in Power)

Despite spending all that time not believing in myself, there's something extraordinary about following the careers of Jemele Hill and Jill Monroe, who both have managed to gracefully and consistently expand their horizons in the wonderful world of sports, that motivates me to just do it, as the notorious Nike slogan would suggest.

So in my sexiest pair of heels, I'll be delivering:

Game day thoughts + predictions + analytics
Dual Perspective: collaboration articles
Music Collective: play lists, album reviews, + music essentials for the day-to-day hustle
Style Report: featuring my favorite game day looks
And so much more

...all told primarily from the perspective of a sports savvy sweetheart; meanwhile, working my way up to becoming one of your new favorite female sports bloggers.
