HALFTIME REPORT: Welcome to Atlanta
/
As someone who was born and raised in Atlanta, there is nothing in the world quite like the pride Atlanta Natives have for the city. It's quite the oxymoron to be a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan and Cowboys in Atlanta would've been an EPIC match up , but I digress. All week long, Falcons fans painted the city red and black to welcome Green Bay Packers to the A in what is the final goodbye to the legendary Georgia Dome, as the new Mercedes–Benz opens in the upcoming 2017-18 season.
So much is weighing on winning this game, as the Falcons haven't been this close to the Super Bowl. The last time they were this close to a ring as in 2013, when they conquered divisional playoffs, but lost to the 49ers in the NFC Championship. The pressure is definitely on, but even with a 31-0 lead at the half, they aren't backing down yet and came to play, especially Matt Ryan and Julio Jones.
It's looking so good, so far.
