On the Radar (Year End Preview)

In the past few months, my listening sessions haven't changed much. The same albums and play lists have been playing in heavy rotation for a while now. It's been a mostly hip-hop, but all reasonably chill/mellow. I've also been revisiting some albums that came out earlier this year and doing my best to keep up with the more recent projects that have dropped. It's wild that pretty soon, I'll be prepared to curate the annual Musical Year in Review

A thought crossed my mind to do a music challenge of sorts like the one I attempted last year, where I set out to post one album review every day for 30 consecutive days. Although I was so close to completion, by day 22/30, I was completely burnt out. It's one thing to do a song a day like the #30DayMusicChallenge I did back in April, but to do a whole album review per day is a lot of work. It's a process that requires active listening and an exceptional amount of research, at least to compose a good one, so maybe if I do one this time around, it won't be 30 days; more like something along the lines of one album review per week.

At any rate, this is what has been on the radar as of lately, as well as what is to be expected of any album reviews I could potentially do in the near future.
