PHI Eagles vs. DAL Cowboys
Prime time football tonight was a special occasion for me. Not only was it game night for Philadelphia Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys, one of the biggest rivalries in the NFL, it's the night my current team (PHI) faced the team I recently left behind (DAL). I admit, the first few seconds of the game felt odd, but it didn't take long for my natural gravitation towards the Eagles to kick in.
The first half of the game was a bit anti-climatic, as they Eagles maintained that 1 point lead at 7-6 well into the 2nd Quarter. The game really picked up in the 2nd half when Eagles caught their second wind and finally started to run the ball. That's when pre-bye week squad finally came back to life and the score at 15-9 looked more like a lead...and we only went up from there.

Let's focus in on this man/beast, Ajayi....didn't I tell you all he was going to fit right in with that elite mentality Philadelphia has been playing on all season? He plays like he belongs there, which is what any team can hope for when adding a new player to an established roster. Although he has his weaknesses, the coaches have found a way to create routes that tap into his strengths. His run game is proficient and his on-field skill set is already super clutch; great pick-up for Eagles.
Just when it couldn't possibly get any worse for Dallas at home, Eagles push the envelope to 23-9 in the 4th, blew the Cowboys out the water with a grand 37-9 ending, and Eagles go back to Philly with 9-1 record moving into week 12. Of course, that's an extremely vague play-by-play, but there isn't many ways to say the victory belonged to the deserving team.
This really is the Eagles' moment and it seems like they're not letting the consistent wins get the best of them. They face every game with a fresh mind-state, but get out there and play like every game is the Super Bowl; they're truly living in the moment and it's fascinating to be a part of the excitement.
