Embracing the Cool

As you can probably tell by now, my personal style is pretty laid back, unless there's an event or occasion that calls for something a little more dressed up. Though I've always loved that look, especially as someone who grew up in the 90's, finding things that are budget friendly, but still good quality, can be a challenge. However, I can definitely the direction that street style has taken in the fashion world. I typically keep it pretty simple and my color palette changes with my mood, but I do like to throw in a few attention grabbers every now and then. 

This ensemble has 3 stand-out pieces that speak to who I am as a person, first one being this dope radio cross body from Rose Gal. Super cute and affordable, although I'm not too familiar with the company who makes this. Kenzo Paris makes these unique items with a very distinct style of branding that are way out of my price range, but it is my hope to one day be in a position to afford to splurge occasionally on designer names that I actually like. The final standout element are these funky George J. Love earrings from YOOX, a brand described as

"...an eclectic and playful journey beyond fashion’s strict seasonal rules..."

and those add a really nice subtle touch to a really dope  fall/winter outfit.
